Plavecká polévka

Address: Plavecká 4, Prague 2
Website: https://www.plaveckapolevka.cz/

A popular place just a short walk from Výtoň and Karlovo náměstí, another of the stalwarts among Prague's soup kitchens. There are around five soups to choose from daily, always some traditional Czech classics (kulajda, zelňačka, gulášová...), plus vegetable cream or exotic flavours. The prices are great, so it's no wonder that it's busy during midday. If soup isn't enough for you, the menu always includes two classic dishes.

AIA Polévkárna

Address: Sokolovská 118, Prague 8

Another excellent Georgian place to go for soup in Prague (and not only for soup). Although they have it in their name, it is actually a restaurant with a menu literally packed with Georgian specialties like khachapuri, chinkali, shashlik and many more. At lunchtime, they offer a buffet-style selection, often including three soups and three mains (check their Facebook for daily updates).

Polévku

With two locations in Prague 2, this soup spot feels more like a bistro – you can drop in for a full lunch as well. However, the selection of 10 soups every weekday is definitely above standard. As elsewhere, lovers of traditional Czech soups and more exotic ones will find something to love here. Vegetarian or gluten-free ones are of course also available.
