Museum of Chocolate

Museum of Chocolate is the first museum of its kind in Prague and is located in the street connecting the Republic Square and the Old Town Square. It is located in two places: in Celetna 10 there is a shop with Belgian chocolate Choco-story, where you can see the production of pralines for free. Workshops of production and creative creation of chocolate are regularly held here.  It is also possible to taste pralines with unusual flavors such as chili, wasabi and caviar. In addition, even chocolate beer or more than 30 kinds of hot chocolate are available. Museum of Chocolate is located on three floors in the street of Celetna 15 and you can learn a lot about the history of chocolate. For example, how the blood sacrificial rituals of the Maya and Aztecs relate to chocolate or about the historical and current practices of chocolate production and cocoa bean cultivation. It also includes interactive activities and a film projection about chocolate production. Chocolate can be tasted in the Snack & Dessert Bar and also in the Candy Shop with all kinds of candy produced. The Wax Museum of Legends by Grévin, which is a museum of wax figures and legends, is located at the same address.
