Hostels for young people

Prague´s hostels are a cheaper option of accommodation than hotels. They are mostly used by young people, students, backpackers; people who prefer a lower price for accommodation in general. Hostel rooms are usually for 6 or more people, so it is the bed that is rented, not the whole room. A bathroom and a toilet are also shared, either per room or per floor. It is usually possible to choose mixed rooms or rooms only for women.

All hostels feature a common area kitchen, where it is possible to prepare a meal, lockers, internet connection and a lounge. Most of Prague´s hostels offer a lot of other different options, such as bike rentals, trip management, table games, etc. There are sheets on beds, however, it is not uncommon that people have to use their own sleeping bags.

Hostels are a good choice for those traveling alone, or for those who like to make new acquaintances. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and hostels also often organize events of all types. Couples and individuals wanting more privacy can book a separate room, but the capacity is limited and such rooms are not available in all hostels.

The accommodations at PragueHere.com are chosen according to several independent ratings given by guests of the hotels. The website´s content has been created by people living in Prague so all hostels are well recommended with local knowledge.

The capacity of hostels during important events in Prague is usually fully booked. We, therefore, recommend making reservations well in advance.
