Christmas Markets in Prague

Christmas markets in Prague have a long tradition and are usually held at all major squares in the city. Their level is comparable to those in Berlin, Brussels or Munich. Most of them start at the end of November, and the big markets on Wenceslas and Old Town Square do not end until after the New Year. Prices at stalls in different places can vary up to ten Czech crowns (the highest prices are in the Old Town Square, lower in Peace Square). In addition to mulled wine, sausages, halusky (gnocchi) and other meals, wooden stalls offer exclusively Christmas goods and decorations. Entry to all Christmas Markets in Prague is free.
