Hostels

Hostels and campgrounds in Prague offer a cheaper alternative to hotels. They are suitable for families with children and also for groups of travelers looking for sightseeing or entertainment.

If you wish to find accommodations close to the historical core of Prague, hostels provide the cheapest option. Most Prague´s hostels offer two possibilities of accommodation. The first and more expensive option is a separate room with bathroom. This is similar to a typical hotel accommodation. The second option is a shared room, where you only rent a bed, and everything else is shared. These types of rooms can be either mixed or divided according to gender. It is an inexpensive option, but offers less privacy. Therefore, it is used mostly by students and independent travelers.

Hostels have a friendly atmosphere and it is easy to meet people there. They will often throw parties and other communal events, as well as organized sightseeing. Hostels usually feature a 24-hour reception, an equipped kitchen that can be used by the guests, a lounge, internet access and a depository.

It can be difficult to book a room during the high season (summer, Christmas season, New Year´s, etc.). It is therefore necessary to make a reservation well in advance.

We recommend using Booking.com for the reservations
